The purpose for a retreat just for girls- Sponsored by NYGM is to create a space for all girls, grades 3rd-12th (whether they are part of a Girls Min. club or not) to grow spiritually, mentally, and socially. By creating intentional moments for worship, diving into God's word, games, crafts, and breakouts, our prayer is that they are challenged in their relationship with God, build one another up, create friendships, and develop a heart for Discipleship, Mentorship, and Missions. God Sees, Loves, and Hears each one of them!

The Girls Ministries Event can be scheduled on any date during the year that is most convenient for your church and/or district. For elementary-age girls, it’s a great way to launch the year and invite guests to church. To plan the event, use this Planning Guide. The Event Planning Guide includes:

The event is designed for any church to use. It is a great tool for outreach to the community and includes a salvation message!
During the Nationwide Girls Ministries Event, girls will experience a storybook adventure! Throughout the Bible, we see women God called and used to make a difference in the world around them. As we look at these incredible Bible women, their stories teach us how to trust, lead, pray, fight, rejoice, sacrifice, love, serve, and be the women God has designed us to be. When God created us, He placed us here for this very moment in time. God has a plan and purpose for each of us, and He loves us so much. We were created for such a time as this!
National GM Week & Serve Day 2026
Join us on September 21st 2025 for Serve Day! This is the last day that follows our National Girls Ministries week! We have partnered with Convoy of Hope to create a list of ways you can serve your community and love your neighbors. Although this is our preferred date, feel free to do it whenever you would like throughout the year, maybe even more than once! Please post your pictures and tag “National Girls Ministries” and use the hashtag #serveday26!
Throughout the week of National Girls Ministries Week, there will be a five-day “Heart of Compassion” devotional available on the YouVersion Bible App for both kids and teens to complete before participating in their local ServeDay.
