  • I deeply value our Assemblies of God fellowship and am passionate about our mission to strengthen healthy leaders and churches, with a vision for gospel transformation in every community across New York. Having had the privilege of closely observing the challenges of the Superintendent's role, I understand both the sacred nature and the complexities it brings. I believe that success in this role requires a heart of dependence on the Holy Spirit and a commitment to collaborative leadership, as there is much we can accomplish when we move forward together. My focus and passion in this role would include supporting and developing young ministers, investing in church planting and revitalization, providing meaningful resources for our ministers, championing missions, and fostering strong relationships and care for credential holders.

  • One of the most pressing challenges facing our fellowship is developing the next generation of healthy, equipped, gospel-centered, and Spirit-led ministers in New York. Over the next decade, at least 100 of our lead pastors will retire, and there is already a shortage of ministers to fill these roles, as well as a need for qualified ministers to plant churches in unreached areas. The challenge is both quantitative and qualitative- we need more ministers, and we need them to be well-trained, equipped, and healthy. To address this, we must shift our culture to reengage churches in valuing the call of God, create strategic resources to support individuals early in their ministry journey, raise the standard of our educational models, and develop entry-level ministry opportunities across New York.

  • My goal in ministry and life has always been to faithfully steward the responsibilities God places before me. This starts with my family, my first and most important ministry, where I find great joy in discipling my children and leading our family to serve Jesus together. In vocational ministry, the Lord has seen fit to expand my influence over the years, and while much of my current work is administrative and behind the scenes, I trust that its fruit will be revealed in eternity. I see this season as an opportunity to invest in God's Kingdom, even if the impact isn't always immediately visible in this life. To be used by God, to be part of what He is doing in this world, and to be called His child are the greatest joys of my life.
